UK-based Zim gospel singer Collette Manny’s two songs in Maranatha awards gospel singer Collette Manny, who is also a lawyer, was recently nominated for the best inspirational worship leader award at this year’s Maranatha awards to be held in the US.
The Grand Award Gala for this year’s awards will be held on July 11 in Columbus, Ohio.

Manny’s two songs in line for the awards are Soaking in your presence which is in the Best Adoration Worship Song 2020 category and the track My Soul in The Best Supplication/Petition Song 2020 section.

Soaking in your presence is a powerful teaser off Manny’s debut album Ultimate God set to be released soon.
All the songs were directed by celebrated Zimbabwean gospel artiste Flame B, who is her brother-in law.
“I know God has used Flame B mightily to accept my calling and mentor me into embracing my musical style and ministry.
“I thank God for his life and he’s produced both songs so for both to be nominated is heavenly seal of approval,” she said.
She added that the ultimate glory belonged to God who called her to the nations by choosing to grace her with these songs.

“It’s just because I dared to trust Him, my ministry is inspired by the Holy Spirit and my story is unique in that I became a singer and songwriter overnight.
“The word says to whom He shall give power, He gives the ability to do all manner of craftsmanship.”
Manny honoured her husband Victor Manyangadze for his unwavering support in her ministry.
Voting which begun on April 25 will end on June 25.
