GOSPEL musician Mawamba Bunjira has decided to release one track off his debut album that was set to be launched last month but was delayed due to challenges he faced during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Bunjira launched the song Mufudzi Wangu on Star FM radio today.
“I have been working on a brand new debut album titled #KudzokaKwaIsheJesu which was due to be released sometime in May 2020.
“Due to the lockdown we couldn’t manage to release the album, so I then decided to release a single titled #MufudziWangu from that very album a single”
Bunjira said he sang the whole book of Psalms23:1-6, because he related what David the Psalmist wrote in this chapter with today’s events.
“We are going through a lot of things just like David who also encountered a number of life-threatening situations but still kept his faith and overcame all the obstacles in his way because he chose to make God his Shepherd
“Looking at this global pandemic the coronavirus we really need to embrace ourselves in The Lord and make him our Great Shepherd the one who will lead us besides the still waters like what David said in the book of Psalms.
David said “though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you my Lord is with me.”
According to Bunjira the verse related to the Pandemic we will not fear anything for The Lord is with us he will fight for us.
The song will be available on BuddieBeatz, GodSentApp, I Tunes, Spotify and other DigitalStores as well.
