Anetty Jengwa buoyed by response to new single

UPCOMING gospel musician Anetty Jengwa is elated with the positive response from fans on her single entitled ‘Kune mumwe’ released last month.
On the same day, Jengwa also released two songs entitled ‘Usacheme’ and ‘Mwari makanaka’which she collaborated her friend.
She told Zim Community News that her fans’ appreciation of her music has motivated her to do better.
“It gives me hope for tomorrow basing on how the people are still responding,” she said.
In the song the song bird implores rich people to lend a hand to those in the community who are struggling to survive due to economic hardships.
“In this world we have friends and family members who are struggling to make ends meet, yet there are others who are spending lots and lots on luxurious things, so let’s just try to assist were help is needed,” she said.
She added that the song was a way of spreading the word of God.
“It’s all about preaching the word, encouraging people to do good as fearing God.”
Jengwa said the inspiration to write songs came from friends, family and other upcoming gospel musicians.
“Ideas from friends and relatives as well listening to other upcoming gospel artists pushed me a lot,” she said.
She is a student at the Catholic University studying Business Administration and is also interested in manicure and pedicure.
