POPULAR Vapotsori sect leader, Madzibaba Andby Makururu has made a rallying call targeted at local prophets to emulate the unity demonstrated by Prophet Uebert Angel and Malawian Prophet Shepherd Bushiri.
The Zimbabwean-born prophet Angel has stood with Enlightened Christian Church leader, Bushiri during his trying times.
Prophet Angel and his wife Beverly recently flew from their base in London to attend the funeral of Bushiri’s daughter Israella (8) who passed on following a lung infection after having spent weeks in hospital.
Bushiri, is the spiritual son of Good News Church leader, prophet Angel.
In an interview with this publication yesterday Makururu hailed Angel’s show of support.
“l am happy with the gesture that was shown by Prophet Uebert Angel, he has stood with Bushiri in his trying times, he lost his daughter and Angel travelled all the way to Malawi to console him (Bushiri),” the Johanne the Fifth of Africa sect prophet, said.
“This is the kind of unity that we also need in this country, as prophets we should be united , we should not been seen backbiting against each other, if there is unity then the work of God will be easy to be recognised,” he added.
Prophet Angel was recently honoured by President Emmerson Mnangagwa with an ambassadorial role as Presidential envoy and Ambassador-At-Large to the Americas and Europe.
“I am happy with our President Mnangagwa that he is also recognising prophets in the country after appointed Uebert Angel as the London Ambassador, the President has always said the Voice of the People is the voice of God which means that he is a God fearful President,” Makururu said.
