Jaji’s Hondo MuMakereke hits purple patch

ETHEREAL Sounds Band frontman Apostle Chosen Jaji has hit a purple patch, with his song Hondo muMakereke which is topping local music charts soon after the success of Forgiveness (Kuregerera).
The 2021 ZCN online charts winner’s song Hondo muMakereke is currently topping of the Radio Zimbabwe weekly charts.
“As Ethereal Sounds Band we recently won a ZCN award as we had topped the ZCN online charts last year.
“The video song is called Forgiveness (Kuregerera) which is action-packed, and based on real issues of infidelity dominating these generations.
Apostle Chosen Jaji, who is based in Wedza, is both a gospel singer and preacher of the word of God.
“We believe God is behind our success in all our endeavours, and we continue glorifying His name for these achievements.
Jaji said as an apostle he was obligated to preach God’s message to the nation and the world at large.
“In Mark 16:15 and Mathew 28:19 Jesus commands us to go on a mission of making disciples for Christ, and this can only be achieved through preaching the Word of God, and music is one of the effective media to carry God’s message to people.
He added that a single track entitled ‘Not This Time’ is now ready to rock, the nation.
“The song is very inspiring and it carries hope to those losing it, and gives strength to move on with life as we look up to God to change our stories! God is the only one to change our fate! Glory to God.
He begun recording songs in 2020 with the debut album Vamwe Vakatumwa.
Jaji is married to Brenda Hannie Maliti-Jaji and the couple are blessed with two children, Divine and Shalom.
