Pastor Goba to celebrate birthday with album launch

BOTSWANA-BASED gospel singer pastor Tsitsi Goba Kavhukatema will release her sixth album in celebration of her birthday and what God has done for her.

The Extreme Worshippers leader told Zim Community News that the album titled Bhora mberi, is about pressing on in life despite any challenges that may come.

The 12-track album that features Dorcas Moyo, Goba’s daughter Ruvarashe Musimwa and Evidence Mayeka is set to be launched on 2 September, her birthday.

“As part of my birthday celebration and thanking God for the life He has given me, I have decided to rejoice together with my fans.

“In this album I will bless them with the fruits of the spirit that result in eternal life.”

“My message to fans is that ‘fellow brethren we are bought by the precious blood of Jesus Christ’.

“It’s no longer us who are living but Christ inside of us Galatians 2 vs 20.”

The album will be launched online and on social media platforms such as Facebook, Whatsapp, YouTube and on radio stations.

She added that on WhatsApp platform the album will be release at 7pm, on Facebook at 7.30pm and on YouTube at 8pm.

The producer Olin Anderson of Kunashe Records in Mutare travelled to Botswana to record the album.

Goba, who has released five albums and three singles, was born in 1974 in Mutare.

Among her singles is a track titled Midimo wa go bitsa, meaning God is calling you, sang in Setswana.
