Mike Chimombe nabbed at his mansion for housing stand deal

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) today confirmed the arrest of the former Affirmative Action (AAG) leader Mike Chimombe on allegations of fraud.
Chimombe was picked at his Borrowdale Brook residence in Harare on allegations of defrauding businessman Brian Marungamise of a housing stand worth US$16 900.
In a tweet, the ZRP twitted confirmed the arrest of Mike Chimombe.
”The ZRP confirms the arrest of Mike Chimombe (41) for fraudulent land deals which occurred between August 2022 and December 2021 in Harare where the complaint was duped US$ 16,900”.
Marungamise alleged that he paid the cash for a stand in Tynwald which does not exist.
”The other suspects, Heymish Katsande (33)and Steven Chimombe (33) were arrested in July 2022 and have already appeared in court where the matter was remanded to 26 October 2022”, the ZRP said.
Chimombe was once arrested for breaching Covid 19 regulations in 2021 after he hosted a party for over 300 friends.
