THE main opposition Citizen Coalition for Change leader Nelson Chamisa yesterday remained upbeat about victory in this year’s elections because God was in it, despite the multitude of impediments his party was facing.

“I am not unmindful of the multiple impediments and the odds that are stacked against us.

“When I say God is in it, I am not saying it as a slogan, it’s a statement of knowledge, of faith of conviction, and of course of the truth that I know about what is occurring.

Chamisa told the nation that the vote this year was a special one because was a liberation, freedom and restoration vote.

“This year is a year of a national rebirth, Zimbabwe is going to be born again, Zimbabwe was born in 1980 but the national rebirth and national renewal, national restoration are going to be realised this year.”

He urged Zimbabweans to brace for the celebrations.
